Whenever possible, get your dining choices to your agent about 185 days prior to your trip. We want to make sure we do everything possible to get you the reservations you want. - Nicole Fairess
I love to do character dining for lunch. It’s a nice break from the action & everyone is hungry (compared to dinner when my kids may want to eat at 4 pm or 8 pm depending on the day!). Our favorites are Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom), Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom) & Tusker House (Animal Kingdom). And if you have a princess, Akershus is cannot miss in Epcot! - Erica Stutzman
We love character dining experiences! One of our favorites is Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk. The location makes it an easy and delicious breakfast choice, on the way to Epcot. The pastries and entree selection make it enjoyable for the entire family. After breakfast, take the boat, or enjoy a leisurely walk, to the international gateway entrance at Epcot. - Rebecca Hall
We tend to do character breakfasts when doing our character dining. Breakfast food is usually well liked, so having our daughter interested in the food AND characters is a win. Tusker House is our favorite in park character dining experience because of the character's outfits and the variety of food, both traditional and exotic, are very good. 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian has been our most memorable. The variety of characters there is a nice stray from the fab five. Mary Poppins even said supercalafragalisticexpialidocious backwards when my daughter asked her and it was IDENTICAL to the movie! Topolino’s Terrace and Trattoria al Forno are on our list for the next character dining experiences. - Rodgers McAfee
We do character dining for lunch each day! It gives us a break from the weather and allows us to spend time with our favorite characters without standing in line!
We have must do locations that we do every trip!
Animal Kingdom - Tusker House - the character interaction is amazing. They also tend to make it around at least twice to visit! We love that there’s a variety of foods that aren’t necessarily on the other buffets. Donald #1
Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace - we love having time with Eeyore and Piglet (along with the Pooh and Tigger) as they aren’t regularly seen in the parks!
Epcot - Akershus - even with a son, this is an enjoyable character interaction. We actually prefer eating here at breakfast instead of lunch. If we do an early breakfast it allows us to get in line for Frozen before the huge crowds get there.
Hollywood Studios- if you have little children they will LOVE Hollywood and Vine at breakfast to hang out with the Disney Jr characters. We love visiting this location at lunch or dinner to see our favorite characters in their season outfits!
Outside of the parks we enjoy Trattoria al Forno breakfast and 1900 Park Fare for dinner - the food is yummy and it gives us the chance to see Prince characters instead of just princesses! - Samantha McNeely
We always do table service for breakfast and dinner this way we can get quick service on the go for lunch. We do love character meals, but we always have to make a stop at Tutto Italia. - Sherese Tronolone
We always schedule O’Hana breakfast the morning we fly out so we do not miss park time. I try to schedule a character or nice table service for dinner the day we arrive for the same reason if it’s not “party season”. We do those the day we arrive if so. - Cassie McCafferty
There is no better way to start your Disney day than with a character breakfast. Our family's favorite - Dine with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Besides having (in our opinion) the best buffet options, the interactions with the princesses make you feel like they came out just for you! Your little princess will delight in the princess promenade. And at the end of the meal - you are ready to tackle EPCOT. - Melanie Klaschka
We love to eat at Disney Parks and make it a priority of our planning.
Our favorites is include Cinderella’s Royal Table for Dinner —we love how we often get a table looking out the castle window, character interaction, souvenirs and a picture to take home all included in your meal cost!
MK- We always go to Crystal Palace as we love Pooh Bear but also for the great castle views and at breakfast we love the puff French toast and strawberry banana lasagna that is sooo good! We also love breakfast at Ohana for the family style service and the yummy juice offered only at select locations on property!! Of course I already mentioned CRT..we have to try breakfast but we love the dinner so much.
AK- We love Tusker House for the fun character costumes
Flame Tree-The longtime favorite..my hubs loves BBQ
Harambe Market-it’s so good with unique but very satisfying options that we can’t miss!!
Eating and trying new restaurants and visiting old favorites is such a key part of the Magic for our family and we look forward to dining each and every visit!! The comforts of our favorites along with adventures of new experiences and flavors are always thrilling and something to look forward to!! - Kandie Montgomery
Trattoria al Forno is a wonderful option if you have boys. My daughters loved seeing Rapunzel and Ariel, of course, but my son was excited to meet Eric and Flynn Rider. Both princes took their time at our table but my son still laughs about getting to do the smolder with Flynn. In addition to the great character interactions, the food is absolutely wonderful. If you schedule the breakfast on your EPCOT day you can take a short walk from your meal to the park. It's a fantastic way to start a day at Disney. - Lauren Webster
The character breakfast at Toppolino’s Terrace at Disney’s new Riviera Resort is fantastic!! Mickey and friends bring a lot of energy, the food is delicious and the views from the rooftop restaurant are amazing! - Andrea Wissick
We love character meals! It’s a great time to meet multiple characters and enjoy a great meal at the same time! Our family faves for breakfast character meals are 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, Ohana at the Polynesian resort and Trattoria al Forno. All have great food and easy park access as well! By far our favorite character dinner is Story book dining at Wilderness lodge! This was our favorite meal by far our last trip to Disney World and who doesn’t love Snow White?! - Dane Patterson
My family enjoys doing a character meal each day of our trip! Character meals give us a break from the weather and a chance to rest, but also enable us to see so many characters in the comfort of the A/C, without having to wait in line! We get to check off meal, character meets, rest time, all in one! At Magic Kingdom, our favorite is Crystal Palace - the food is always delicious and my kids love the parade with Pooh and friends. At Epcot, Garden Grill is our favorite - the unique spinning restaurant with Farmer Mickey has a view of the Living with the Land ride down below, and this is one of the most relaxing and restful character meals, since the food is delivered family style to the table! At Hollywood Studios, Hollywood and Vine is our favorite because we love the glamorous seasonal dining theme and photo session with our favorite characters, plus we love the prime rib! At Animal Kingdom, Tusker House is our favorite for the unique and delicious food (best salmon EVER) and ambiance, and we have many special memories of my youngest leading the parade with Donald Duck. We love to kick off a trip with Chef Mickey's dinner when we arrive and end a trip with a visit to Ohana on the way out! - Abbie Price
